Springtime in Saint Tropez

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I was away on holiday in a place where you can find this :

Yes, thistles. But it was not Scotland. The surroundings looked more like this :



The gulf of St Tropez is magnificent at this time of the year. The famous village itself is a monument of tackiness with its numerous luxury shops (Dolce & Gabbana swimsuits anyone ?) and its show-offy café :

I did manage to find another reference to Scotland : this yacht called Moonbeam of Fife. The story of this beauty is explained here.

Désolée pour les lecteurs réguliers ou les visiteurs occasionnels, j'ai un peu délaissé ce blog le temps de quelques vacances sur la "French riviera". Dans le golfe de Saint-Tropez, j'ai repéré des chardons qui m'ont rappelé le pays. Et dans le village de la jet set lui-même, se trouvait un très joli yacht du nom de Moonbeam of Fife, comme la région écossaise. Ce vénérable bateau a un site Internet ici.

Pour retrouver mes contrées du nord, je dois encore attendre trois mois...
